Lee Cooper Job Vacancy

The brand that eventually became Lee Cooper was established in 1908 by Morris Cooper and a friend, Louis Maister, after they arrived in London from their hometown in Lithuania, having previously spent some time in South Africa. Operating under the name M.Cooper (Overalls) Ltd., from premises on Middlesex Street in London's East End, they began production of workwear, having identified a market for it in South Africa.
During the years of the first World War, M.Cooper (Overalls), which by then employed over 600 people, halted production of workwear and began making uniforms, kit bags and rucksacks for the British Army. In 1937, a new factory dedicated to the manufacture of denim was opened in Stratford, with the business reporting a profit of £1,000 by year end.The outbreak of the second World War in 1939 led Morris Cooper to split the business into two: one arm continued making workwear, while the other concentrated on producing military uniforms, battle fatigues and flight overalls. M.Cooper (Overalls) eventually became one of the armed forces' biggest suppliers.

As a Sales Engineer you shall provide focused technical sales support for Slickline, Cased Hole, and other Data related, plus Perforating services, working closely with Business Development Manager and Product Line Managers to deliver targeted budget revenue and growth strategies.

Unilever bekerja sama dengan MM UGM mengadakan Guest Lecturer bertajuk "Making A Sustainable Future : Growing in A Resource Constrained World". Kapan dan bagaimana, kita simak yuk.

Guest Lecturer dari Unilever ini akan diadakan pada Rabu, 2 Mei 2012, di Auditorium MM UGM pukul 13.30 – 15.30 WIB besok. Unilever akan mendatangkan Sancoyo Antarikso, Corporate Secretary PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, sebagai pembicara. Beliau adalah alumni Fakultas Ekonomi UGM angkatan 1982. Hadir pula para alumni UGM lain dalam acara tersebut.
 
Guest Lecturer ini merupakan acara rutin yang diadakan unilever tiap tahunnya. Di Yogyakarta sendiri, acara tersebut sudah diselenggarakan sejak 2009 silam. "Acara ini merupakan roadshow sosialisasi beberapa program kami," ujar Edwin Djakaria, Assistant L&OD Manager Unilever Indonesia.

Unilever Future Leader Program (UFLP). UFLP merupakan program yang dikhususkan bagi mereka yang lulus tahun 2012 atau yang sudah bekerja maksimal dua tahun. "Bagi yang berencana lulus tahun ini juga bisa melamar," ujar Edwin. Melalui UFLP Anda akan mengikuti kegiatan selama tiga tahun bersama Unilever. Di sini Anda akan dikembangkan menjadi calon pemimpin masa depan melalui berbagai kegiatan, seperti rotasi internasional, pengalaman di bisnis unit yang berbeda, merasakan lingkungan profesional itu seperti apa, serta reward yang  kompetitif.

Sepeti telah diketahui, stres tidak selalu berdampak negatif. Secara aktif Anda bisa mengubahnya menjadi manfaat bagi diri sendiri maupun karir Anda nantinya.

Tidak semua orang tahu bagaimana melakukan manajemen stres dengan baik. Stres yang dikelola dengan baik akan membuat seseorang menjadi individu yang lebih tangguh. Seseorang yang pandai mengelola stres secara otomatis akan mampu menciptakan inovasi-inovasi baru bagi diri sendiri untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya.
Berikut beberapa tip untuk melakukan manajemen stres agar tekanan yang Anda hadapi bisa membuat Anda tetap produktif.
1. Kenali penyebab stres!

Hal penting untuk mengatasi stres adalah mengenali aspek yang menimbulkan stres itu sendiri. Diam sesaat dan renungkan apa yang sebenarnya membebani pikiran Anda. "Kalau sudah tahu, gali lagi lebih dalam, apa benar hal itu seberat yang ada di pikiran Anda," ujar Djuni Utami, Pembantu Direktur Bidang Akademik United Tractors School. Coba ubah pola pikir tersebut, mungkin beban tersebut sebenarnya tidak sesulit tampaknya.
2. Do action!

Setelah memahami, langkah penting selanjutnya adalah mengambil tindakan konkret. Buatlah jadwal dan perencanaan. "Jadwal akan membantu Anda mengelola waktu," ujar Sri Muliati Abdullah, Staf Ahli Bidang Recruitment and Training ECC UGM. Disiplinkan diri Anda pada jadwal dan perencanaan tersebut. Selesaikan satu per satu sehingga hasilnya optimal.
3. Sharing!
Sering bersosialisasi dan bertukar pengalaman mampu mengurangi beban tekanan pekerjaan. Mengapa? Karena aktivitas tersebut memungkinkan Anda mendapatkan data-data objektif dari hasil pengalaman rekan bicara Anda. Ceritakan beban Anda sehingga orang lain mengetahuinya dan bisa memberikan saran sebelum dampak negatif muncul. "Pilih lawan sharing yang memiliki pengetahuan lebih banyak dibanding Anda, seperti atasan atau teman dekat," terang Djuni Utami.
4. Manjakan diri
Jika stres sudah semakin membebani dan pikiran tak mampu lagi berkonsentrasi tak ada salahnya Anda berhenti sejenak. Lakukan hal-hal yang menyenangkan. "Wajib bagi diri kita untuk menghadiahi diri sendiri," ujar Sri Muliati Abdullah, seperti jalan-jalan atau melakukan hobi. Selama bisa membuat Anda refresh, turuti saja. Sehingga nantinya saat harus kembali di depan meja kerja lagi, Anda sudah siap dengan amunisi semangat yang lebih baik.

5. Pola hidup sehat
Pikiran refresh akan sia-sia tanpa kondisi badan yang fit. Oleh karenanya, makan dan istirahatlah secara teratur. Selain itu, berolahraga teratur juga akan membuat badan terasa segar sehingga gangguan tidur bisa Anda hindari. [CN]

Lalu, adakah cara untuk mempermudah seseorang melewati tahapan tes tersebut? Berikut beberapa tip yang bisa Anda gunakan untuk menghadapi tes dalam Bahasa Inggris.
  • Tes Tertulis
Banyak berlatih
Saat akan menghadapi tes tertulis dalam bahasa asing khususnya Inggris, HR Staff Bank of Tokyo Ummu Hani, menyarankan seseorang untuk memperbanyak berlatih soal. "Kan sekarang sudah banyak buku-buku TOEFL atau TOEIC, banyak berlatih dengan itu," ujarnya.
Tes tertulis, tentu berbeda dengan wawancara. Di sini, kemampuan bahasa Inggris Anda tidak sebatas "bisa dipahami". "Untuk itu, belajar lagi tentang structure, vocabulary, grammar, dan kaidah-kaidah penulisan lainnya," terang Sri Muliati Abdullah, Staf Ahli Bagian Training and Recruitment ECC UGM.
  • Tes Wawancara
     
Berlatih conversation
Beberapa hari sebelum tes berlangsung, berlatihlah untuk berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris. Ajak rekan yang lebih pandai dan bisa memotivasi untuk menjadi partner conversation Anda. Semakin sering berlatih, lidah Anda pun akan terbiasa mengucapkan kata-kata sulit dalam Bahasa Inggris.
Siapkan jawaban
Selain melatih perbincangan dalam Bahasa Inggris, ada baiknya Anda juga melatih diri menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan standar wawancara dalam Bahasa Inggris. Misalnya, karakter diri, riwayat pendidikan, kontribusi awal yang bisa Anda berikan kepada perusahaan, alasan melamar posisi tersebut, dan pertanyaan lain yang sering muncul saat wawancara kerja. Paling tidak dengan menyiapkan jawaban dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan umum, Anda bisa lebih percaya diri dan merasa siap.

Yang tidak kalah pentingnya, jaga ketenangan emosi saat wawancara kerja. Perasaan gugup atau grogi bisa membuat seseorang tidak lancar bicara karena energinya habis untuk memikirkan kecemasannya tersebut.
Ummu mengungkapkan saat wawancara kerja dalam Bahasa Inggris, pewawancara tidak terlalu memperhatikan struktur kalimat yang diucapkan kandidat. "Lebih pada bagaimana jawaban dia terhadap pertanyaan yang diajukan, pas tidak dengan pertanyaannya," terangnya. Ummu pun berbagi tips. Jawaban yang disampaikan saat wawancara sebaiknya tidak terlalu singkat ataupun terlalu panjang sampai tidak tertangkap maknanya. "Jawab dulu pertanyaannya dengan singkat dan mengena, baru setelahnya dijabarkan," terang Ummu.
Terlepas dari itu untuk menghadapi tes bahasa Inggris, baik tertulis maupun wawancara, Anda harus memahami diri sendiri. Kenali kelemahan dan kekuatan Anda. "Jika speaking-nya lemah, maka coba belajar speaking lebih banyak," ujar Ummu. Anda bisa memulainya dengan menyukai hal-hal berbahasa Inggris, sepeti novel dan lagu. "Juga harus memiliki mindset dan cita-cita untuk mengglobal, jadikan Bahasa Inggris sebagai kebutuhan," tandas Sri Muliati Abdullah.

Unforgettable Experiences at Goettweig from our previous intern Ember

My name is Ember and I am now a member of the Incantato Tours Team. Before I joined the company, I toured with my university choir to Central Europe in the summer of 2008. One of my most memorable times was at the Benedictine Abbey of Goettweig. I felt like we were treated like kings and queens as we were offered a private tour through the monastery with Pater Justus, the museum was full of beautiful art and history but more importantly it had original compositions by Haydn and Beethoven on display. He also allowed our fellow student and accompanist to play on the organ in the cathedral. It was so special to see the cathedral at night and to have a personal concert on their beautiful, enormous organ.

Goettweig is situated on the top of a mountain, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views I've ever seen. Here are some pictures from the perspective of my camera last summer. This is a picture of my friend and I (on the right) with Pater Justus, at the end of our personal tour through the monastery and museum.

This is a monastery that carries on with their Benedictine style of life but has adapted graciously to the 21st century. This was made obvious on Sunday morning after their traditional mass there was a contemporary service held outside and the whole congregation was full of motorcycles and their riders. Although it was alarming to hear all the bikes roaring up to the courtyard, it was moving to be able to witness this - it was a beautiful experience.




While staying at Goettweig, we were able to take strolls along the Danube in Duernstein and to
take a hike up to the ruins of a castle fortress, which happens to be where Richard the Lionhearted was imprisoned during the Crusades.

Here's a silly picture of my friend acting like she was locked up in the same place as Richard. She'd kill me if she knew I posted this! =)

Last but not least, we had a wonderful experience performing in the sanctuary. It's a beautiful spectacle for the audience but also for the singers. I firmly believe that each venue offers something different to each piece of repertoire. My musical experience was definitely enhanced while singing here. The space is very much alive and is great for classical music, especially for an orchestra. Here is a picture of the sanctuary during our performance. In this picture, the choir is singing Bach's "Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied" - split into two choirs spanning both sides.

Bisa dikatakan gaji pegawai di Indonesia sangatlah relatif tergantung dari banyak faktor namun yang terpenting dan sangat mempengaruhi yaitu jabatan, lokasi daerah, dan level perusahaan nasional atau multinasional. Menurut thread yang ada di kaskus, berikut perkiraan gaji pegawai sesuai tingkatan karir di perusahaan swasta terbaru, tahun 2012.

Standar Gaji di Indonesia

1. Fresh Graduates - Kisaran gaji Rp2 – Rp3 juta per bulan.
Gaji ini tentunya sudah lumayan untuk anda yang baru lulus S1 dinilai dari tingkat persaingan dengan para sarjana lainnya. Artinya masih banyak lulusan sarjana yang bersedia bekerja dengan gaji di bawah 2 juta per bulan.

2. Asisten Manajer - Kisaran gaji Rp5 – Rp8 juta per bulan.
Jabatan asisten manajer sangat layak anda pegang jika sudah bekerja 3 hingga 5 tahun. Namun jika dalam kurun waktu ini jabatan anda tidak naik-naik maka silakan pertimbangkan karir anda di perusahaan saat ini. Kecuali gaji anda naik rata-rata 20 % setiap tahunnya, tentu lain lagi persoalannya.

3. Manajer / Kepala Bagian - Kisaran gaji Rp10 – Rp15 juta per bulan.
Untuk bisa mencapai posisi ini anda harus mempunyai pengalaman setidaknya 7 hingga 10 tahun. Gaji ini tentunya dibarengi dengan kenaikan tunjangan lain termasuk kendaraan pribadi.

Many professionals spend hours writing and re-writing their cover letter. With each resume submission, we tend to revise our cover letter to make sure that it is personalized for the position we are applying for. While we spend so much time on the content of the cover letter, we seem to disregard a very important and prominent area of the letter – the address line. Most mistakes in the cover letter are made in the address line.

This is very problematic as this is the first piece of information that the potential employer sees on your resume. If mistakes are made in the address line, it is likely that the potential employer will discard the letter and you will lose an opportunity to be considered as a candidate for the job that you want. The following three mistakes are most common in addressing the cover letter and should be considered before your cover letter is sent to the employer:

1. Not addressing the letter to a person. This is a big mistake in the world of cover letters. Generic greetings, such as "To whom it may concern" or "Dear Human Resources Team," are not favorable. If the job description or posting does not include the contact person, you will need to do some research to find out who the appropriate contact is for the job you are applying for. Additionally, avoid addressing the letter to a job title. Call the organization and find out who is the hiring manager or the recruiter for the job, and address the letter directly to them. In case it is impossible to find out who the appropriate contact is, it is often recommended that you leave off any generic greetings and simply begin the cover letter.

2. Misspelling the name of the organization. Even if you are addressing your cover letter to a specific person, you will still need to include the name of the company and their address. Always make sure that the company name is spelled correctly. Hiring managers and recruiters know from experience that misspelling the company name is a common mistake, but it's the easiest one to avoid. Triple-check the company name on your cover letter. If your potential employer receives the letter with the incorrect company name, your letter will never make it past the first person who receives it.

3. Your first sentence doesn't explain why you are contacting the company. This is a common mistake as many people assume that stating that you are contacting the company regarding employment, as you are including your resume, is unnecessary. However, this is not the case. Let your potential employer exactly why you are contacting them; state the title of the job you are interested in, and how your qualifications make you an ideal candidate for the job. Your first statement needs to be straight forward, energetic, and positive, and it should invite the employer to read through the rest of the cover letter. Bland and generic opening statements will result in disinterest on the part of your employer, and your resume will not get pass the first review.

  • Act as Contractors single point of contact (SPOC) for any correspondence with Company related with WR under his/her responsibility, including: transmittal system, MDR update, proper documentation of decisions impacted WR schedule and budget, management of changes, etc.
  • Ensure that the weekly / monthly report related to WR under his/her responsibility, has been thoroughly checked prior to issuance to Company.

  • If assigned to Company as seconded personnel; he/she shall assist Companys personnel in managing Companys projects in CPDEP phase-2 to 4, which shall include but not limited to project activities as follow:
  • a. Phase-2: supporting alternatives generation/evaluation/selection, providing technical consultancy as needed, preparing project documentation & VIP sessions as required, assisting on G036 & GO! AFE process forphase-3 (FEED) to ensure budget & schedule adequacy, etc.

Phase-3: overseeing Companys contractor in executing FEED to ensure that all deliverables have been thoroughly reviewed prior to final approval, controlling AFE schedule & budget, preparing project documentation & VIP sessions as required, assisting on GO-36 & GOI-AFE process(phase-4: project execution) to ensure budget & schedule adequacy, etc.
  • c. Phase-4: overseeing Companys contractor in executing DED to ensure that all deliverables have been thoroughly reviewed prior to final approval, preparing project documentation & VIP sessions as required, maintaining close communication with Companys O&M teams during project execution, ensuring that pre-commissioning& commissioning scope are properly done prior to Facility start-up, assisting to coordinate project hand-over process to Companys O&M teams including preparation of hand-over documentation dossiers, etc.

Qualification of Personnel
  • Minimum education is to possess an engineering degree (S I) or equivalent.
  • The candidate shall have minimum 5 years working experience in engineering design, construction and project management for oil and gas or petrochemical handling projects and/or facilities.
